Crystals & Other Products

Most of our crystals are sourced from the largest crystal capital in the world, Donghai, China, where over 80% of the world's crystal export and manufacture takes place.

If the crystal is an "exact pull", then yes, you will get that one-of-a-kind crystal.

If it is a random pull, then most vendor images will show the vendor's largest pull to show the capability of the quality and detail they provide.

For more information, see our How We Work page for more details.

An exact pull ensures that you will receive the specific crystal featured in the product photo. This allows you to see precisely what you're getting before making a purchase. It's an excellent choice if you have a particular aesthetic preference or if a specific crystal has caught your eye. Exact pulls provide a level of certainty in terms of the crystal's appearance, allowing you to choose based on your preferences.

On the other hand, a random pull refers to the selection of a crystal from a broader inventory without a specific guarantee on its appearance. Random pulls embrace the mystery and uniqueness of the crystal that will be chosen for you. This is ideal for those who appreciate the spontaneity and surprise that comes with each crystal's distinct characteristics. Most are mass produced to fit a specific design (such as towers), but aren't the exact ones shown in the pictures.

Crystals are nature's artwork, each unique in pattern, color, and form. While many individuals seek pristine specimens, imperfections like vugs, druzys, chips, and scratches add charm and tell a story of the crystal's journey from the Earth to our hands. The following questions explore these imperfections and their impact on a crystal's allure.

Vugs are cavities in rocks, often lined with different materials. Formed by gas bubbles in magmatic rocks or mineral dissolution in sedimentary rocks, they can be empty or filled with crystals, adding hidden beauty.

Druzys are coatings of fine crystals on rock surfaces or within vugs. These tiny, sparkling crystals, often found in geodes, create a glittering effect that catches the light and the eye.

Chips are small pieces broken off, usually from mishandling or natural events. While they can affect symmetry, they remind us of the crystal's fragility and the care need to preserve its beauty.

Scratches on a crystal's surface can occur naturally or from contact with other minerals. These marks detract from luster but give each piece a unique fingerprint, recording its interactions with the world.

Wabi-sabi (侘寂, わびさび) is the appreciation of the transient beauty of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete in the physical world. Taken from the Japanese word wabi (わび), which translates to "less is more", and sabi (さび), which means "attentive melancholy", the term often is used to describe something as "perfectly imperfect".

Not necessarily. Imperfections can enhance a crystal's character, making it a one-of-a-kind treasure. They highlight the natural history and transformation of the crystal.

Crystal enthusiasts and collectors appreciate imperfections as a representation of the crystal's journey and natural history. Each flaw adds to the crystal's unique story and beauty.

While no crystal is flawless, there is a perfect crystal for every collector, one whose unique imperfections resonate personally.

Handle crystals gently, store them securely, and avoid contact with hard surfaces that can cause scratches or chips. Regular cleaning with appropriate methods can also help maintain their appearance.
